We, The Kenna Team, are everyday people. We are a small group of educators and community members who began building this non-profit organization. At the behest, and consultation of our founder, the foundation would provide scholarships to minority, and socio-economically disadvantaged girls who live in our communities --Chicago, Dallas and L.A. We found that some of the women we intended to serve are considered at-risk merely because of their zip codes or less glamorous societal perceptions. As a result, the Kenna Team has chosen to help these future leaders realize their potential, and defy all odds.
