Kenna Camp is an integral piece of the Born of Fire Mentoring Program. Girls in the program are required to attend. Girls not enrolled in the program are welcome to register and attend as well!
The annual Kenna Camp is a summer enrichment program that provides hands-on activities in the area of the arts and wellness. Each year a theme is chosen and aims to provide a collaborative and engaging environment with assistance from our well-trained staff.

The students will develop fundamental art skills and create artwork that reflects the way they see things. Students will identify social and emotional learning (SEL) areas through visual arts, such as growth mindset, creativity, and self-reflection. The class will also provide hands-on art experiences in a supportive, encouraging environment.
This course will introduce the basic fundamentals of Radio Podcasting ranging from show formatting, on-air promotion, journalism & interview strategies. Other components include technical support & production. Script writing, skit performance, and how to create a commercial-advertisement to promote and sell products and ideas are explored.
Born of Fireside Chats is an interactive conversation BY girls, FOR girls. The activities will focus on the themes of coping and confidence. Teen girls face pressure from themselves, peers, family, and social media. This program is designed to help young women be ALL they can be by developing healthy decision-making skills, self-esteem, and coping techniques.
The Yoga and Meditation class allows the students a moment of guided calm and quiet. It focuses on the mind-body connection and shows the girls techniques they can use at home or in stressful situations to self-regulate, calm down, and re-center.
